Wool Felting: Tiny Animals!

I have been wanting to try wool felting for quite awhile now and I just happened upon this book while up in San Francisco:

The little animals are adorable and would make wonderful gifts for baby showers or Christmas. I could see them decorating a Christmas tree, or hanging as a mobile above a baby crib.  They require no knitting, crocheting, rarely require sewing, and can be made while sitting on your couch in the evening.  The instructions seem to be lacking, since it is a Japanese translation, but I have a knack for fabric crafts and molding, so hopefully I can pick it up, without getting too frustrated.   I will post an update after I attempt my first project.

Here are a few more felted wool projects I found to ooo and aww at:

Those are some great examples of wood felted animals! I haven’t seen ones so small.

    Hello,

I am very interested in the last picture. I have tried looking for that book, I guessed titled Zoo. But I can not find it. Did you come across it?

Are they too tiny or we humans are huge? They are very cute, and looks better than many factory made toy animals.
